My Macbook Pro doesn't hold it's charge.

My Macbook Pro does not hold it's charge. The light on power cord never changes from orange to green, and as soon as the cord disconnects the computer power goes off. The surfaces are both clean. Help, please.

Most likely you have a bad battery. However, you should try resetting the SMC.
