Hello, I have a LCD problem in my MacBook Pro.

Hello,

I am enjoying my MacBook from Sep, 2016.

A couple of week ago, the bottom of LCD has little black shadow.

but today, a top horizontal part of LCD is lightly blinking.

I think my Mac has some problems and it is going on.

Please check this photo out and give me some advice.

The good news is it's not the LCD because it shows up in a screenshot which comes directly off the graphics chip and bypasses the screen. The bad news is it may be a failing GPU.

Try a SMC reset and see if it helps:

If not you'll need to bring/send it in for evaluation.

Thank you for the great answer. I tried SMC reset, but It wasn't getting better.

I am wondering that my Mac Pro was a problem on LCD panel's backlight. Apple made a recall program for this model.

I also wonder although I bought this device in South Korea, can I get a recall service in Australia?

My screen has Top and bottom horizontal shadow and blinking.
