Phone/Watch Ringing Issues

I have an iPhone X and got an apple watch series 5 about 6 months ago. I have the one with GPS and cellular so I can still get calls if I don't have my phone around. I'm with O2 and pay the extra each month to enable me to make calls & get mail etc on my watch. It all seems to work ok most of the time but since I've paired my watch and phone my phone doesn't ring more than once. Let me clarify, my phone rings normally my end but the person calling me only hears it ring once then it goes silent. This causes the caller to hang up as they think the call has not connected or they've been cut off. This does not happen if I'm not wearing my watch so it's definitely an issue between the two. I'd be grateful for any advice to try and get this issue resolved.

Hi mariesamluke,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. As I am understanding, when you wear your Apple Watch callers are only hearing a single ring on their end. I certainly understand not wanting to give the impression to callers that your phone has stopped ringing.

Since this is the ring heard by the caller, this wouldn't be something that is resolvable on the watch. The number of rings callers hear would be on O2's network end. I'd suggest contacting them.

Have a fantastic day!
