I want to know if this software will work on my new Mac Pro. The requirements is:

Macintosh OS X 10.10 or later, including macOS Catalina 10.15, 900 MB hard disk space, 2 GB of RAM (4 GB recommended, x 800 screen resolution.

I want to check before I purchase it online to download the software!

Thank you for letting me know you would recommend Reunion for Mac software that works well on Mac. I would like to have a software that I can work from my computer than online to build my family tree. Is Reunion for Mac is very similar to Ancestry on how the family tree is build - information, tree, pictures, etc.? I used to have Family Historian software but I discovered it doesn't have Mac version so that is why I am looking for a new family tree software to install to my new Mac Pro. My PC laptop died and I never liked it so I decided to go for Mac version!

I suggest exploring the Features and New Features portions of the Reunion for Mac website.

You can also download Reunion for free to try it out. It includes a sample family tree plus you can build your own, although there is a limit of 50 people in demo mode.

Years ago when I first used Reunion, I migrated the data from my previous family tree software (via GED) and it worked fine; there was hardly anything to clean up afterwards (mostly some sources that I had not formatted correctly in the previous app.)
