How do I use Home Share from TV?

Hi,

I have my main video library on my iMac and stream video to the TV using and Apple TV and used to watch on my laptop using iTunes and Homeshare

Now that iTunes has gone, then how do I use homesgare on the TV native app?

When there is another Home Sharing library visible on the network the Library entry at the top of the side bar in the TV app should become a drop down menu. Click to show and select your remote library.

Thanks.. let me explain the scenario a little clearer.

My movies are on my iMac which runs home share
I have an Apple TV box connected to my TV that I enable homeshare and watch the movies streamed from my imac
I have laptops that I used to watch the movies streamed from the iMac until iTunes disappeared. Now I don't know how to stream video TO these laptops from the imac

Can you help me enable the TV app on the laptop to receive the video stream from the iMac.

I think that I didn't word my question very well.

I'm talking about the TV Application on my MacBook.

I have turned on Homesharing in preferences within OSx but I don't know how to access the media on my iMac that also has home sharing turned on.

When you enable Media Sharing and then Home Sharing in System Preferences in Catalina it should share both the Music and TV libraries on your local network. These should be visible in iTunes from another computer with Home Sharing enabled.
