Catalina doesn’t delete apps, but older 32-bit apps don’t work anymore
I’m not entirely sure what you are asking. But I know Catalina doesn’t delete in any pre-installed apps, so I guess the answer is no.
You have to get a better source for your rumors.
32 bit apps will not work with Catalina.
Steam works since it has a 64 bit client. However most Mac games in my library quit working since they are 32 bit.
They were still installed but their icons turned grayish with a mark through them. Means they won't work.
Catalina itself doesn't delete apps.
Have a look at this link https://www.macrumors.com/guide/32-bit-mac-apps/
Here’s explained how to check if you are running 32-bit apps on your mac. If so, vist the developer’s websites to look for updates.
In any case: backup your mac (e.g. with TimeMachine) before updating to Catalina
Wow, well Catalina was released last October, so you need newer rumours ;)
It was someone's comment on the apple website when you search for catalina

I believe Steam now has a 64bit version. You'll have to check.
