Apple logo with progress circle lines

My Apple Watch apparently did not update properly and now sometimes I see the green charge sign with a line like a snake. Now I see the apple logo with the progress circles like its loading but when its complete it just says there and doesn't go any further. HELP. How to fix?

The first (and simplest) thing to try if something isn’t working right is to restart your Apple Watch and its paired iPhone. If necessary (device not responding), try a forced restart. Both methods can be found here:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support

The next steps would be to unpair and pair your watch again and restore from the backup:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch - Apple Support
