Block a sender and notify the sender their email was blocked

Good Evening:

I have an iMAC Catalina OS. I am using Spamsieve version 2.9.39 with Outlook for the Mac Version 16.35. All I want to do is block a senders email address and notify them it has been blocked. Is there any way to do this?

Any and all suggestion are welcome.

Respectfully;

It is not a good idea to automatically reply to email for a couple of reasons:

  1. Auto replies can create a race condition. What if the recipient sets up a reply to you saying your emails are also blocked. So you receive an email that is replied to, that is replied to by the recipient, that is replied to by you, that is replied to by the recipient, that is re ......
  2. The sender automatically knows that he has reached a valid email address and if they are a spammer they can sell that good email address to other spammers.

Just block the sender and forget about it.
