Can I trade in an iPhone from MetroPCS to receive a new iPhone?

I am assuming that you wish to trade-in a MetroPCS iPhone to get a new iPhone from Apple.

If you got the iPhone from MetroPCS under an agreement and that terms under that agreement have been sufficed then you can trade it in because you own the iPhone. On the other hand, if you owe any amount of money for that iPhone to MetroPCS then you should not use it for a trade-in.
