iPhone unable to activate

My sim card didn't work, it was saying searching. So I Erased all Data and Settings. And now I turned it on and when I want to active the iphone it says: Your iPhone could not be activated beacause the activation server is temporarily unavailable. Try connecting your iphone to mac or to a pc with itunes to activate it, or try again in couple of minutes.

When i open itunes there is just written iphone but nothing else is on the screen, then it says that iphone can't be activated because the activate data failed.

Please look at this --> If you can't activate your iPhone - Apple Support


If you are not the owner then there is no way that you can get into this iPhone unless the original owner shares the Apple ID and password with you. If you are lucky you can get into this iPhone if they (owner) accidentally remove the device from their apple ID.


If you are the owner then to open Activation Lock:- If it is Activation locked, read here --> Turn off Activation Lock - Apple Support Activation Lock for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
