Echo with Facetime

I just bought a new MacBook Pro 16" Catalina in feb 2020. Huge deception as everyone calling me have a very loud echo. Whether they call from a MacBook or a cell phone, etc. It never occurred with my previous MacBook.

I tried to play with the different options available (lower the speakers, etc.) but did not work at all. The only way around is to use earphones but not very friendly when you want to call Grandpa with wife and kids.

Any ideas on what to do next ?
