Item did not arrive on delivery date

Hi. I ordered airpods online on 14 April, and I got an email from Apple saying it will delivered on 18 April, which is a Saturday. The courier service is by DHL express, however, I checked the tracking today and says "arrived at delivery facility" dated today.

I tried to find everywhere online to contact customer service at Apple but apparently there is no such contact on weekends. Is Apple's delivery date not accurate at all? I was really looking forward to my item arriving today :(

Anyone every experience this???

"Arrived at facility" usually means it is at the station that puts it on the local delivery vehicle. I do not know about DHL but our UPS and FedEx order tracking here commonly shows arrival at the local depot early in the morning and then I see an "out for delivery" notice, and it is delivers that day.

If in doubt, call DHL.

We don't work for Apple so can only tell you our experiences. can't check anything for you, either. Also there are a lot of reports of shipping delays due to medical equipment getting shipping priority.

Isn't today Saturday the 18th? It is at the delivery facility as stated in the notice. It will likely be delivered today. What in the notice is causing concern?
