My Samsung SE-208 GB DVD writer will not mount on my 11" MacBook Pro (mid-2011) updated . It previously worked under earlier versions of OSX. Driver issue? Where can updated drivers be located if this is the issue?
You would probably have to ask Samsung, but an external DVD drive should not require any drivers. If it does, it was a poor choice.
How did you manage to install Mojave on a 2011 MacBook Pro? It isn't supported by Mojave at all. Maybe that is the source of the problem.
