Apple TV 4K

Hi all,


anyone knows if the Apple TV 4K supports DTS HD OR DTS for movies ? I have been informed that when ever you play a 4K movie it will be either DTS or DOLBY ATMOS, but want to know more about the sound quality for movies.

DTS (any variation) is not supported by the system software.

iTunes Store movies use AAC audio or Dolby Digital (Plus), which will be converted to PCM Multichannel (with or without Atmos), or Dolby Digital 5.1 or Stereo for output, depending on your settings.
