Yahoo has taken over

My default search engine has always been Google. For some reason Yahoo has taken over, even though I've reset the default to Google. And Google shows in Settings. How to fix?

Try changing it, then change it back.


If that fails, you might have installed Adware.


Use Etrecheck to find and remove it. If it doesn't find any, post the Etrecheck Report by using the Share Report > Copy Report and paste it into the Additional Text area here (document icon).

Posting the Report and removing adware are free. You do not have to purchase the app.
