Reinstalling MacOS

I purchased a used Mac desktop and erased the disk to reset the computer. I am trying to reinstall the disk, but the error message says the App Store cannot download because it has been downloaded too many times.

Reinstall macOS I have a 2018 MacAir and am giving it away. I used disk utility to erase and now trying to reinstall macOS. It had Monterey but only option to reinstall is Sierra and that fine. But when I try it says failed to download and go to purchase page. Any help? Just want to reinstall a functioning OS for my nephew.

App Store preventing me to reinstall Mac OS My old MacPro A1286 was acting up so I wanted to wipe it clean and reinstall Mac OS. I followed the steps and signed out everywhere, leaned the Hard Drive via Disk Utility and now when I want to reinstall the Mac Os it asks me to sign in with my Apple ID which then says Error. So now I have a wiped HD and unable to install Mavericks OS because of this prompt. Anyone with helpful advice?

Restart into Internet Recovery. You might have to use one of the two key combinations of Command+Option+R or Shift+Command+Option+R if you are unable to restart using Command+R.
