Using iPhone 8 WiFi to PC using USB Tethering

I am trying to figure out how to use my iPhone 8 WiFi to PC using USB Tethering. I cannot seem to USB tether without using cellular data. Is it possible to use WiFi and not cellular data.

I have read that you can only accomplish this if your iPhone is jail broken.

I did see you could do it if you have iTunes on your PC, which I do but could not figure out how to do this.

Please help. We are trying to assist some of our users to work from home during the pandemic as they need to do it this way. We know how to do this with Android but not iPhone. I have an iPhone so have been testing to see if I can figure it out to do up some instructions, but it's not working for me :( Please help....

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide me. Take Care and Be Safe!

Thank you for your help LACAllen. Is it false to say that you can (re)share a wifi signal if your iPhone has been jail broken and that iTunes has nothing to do with helping you achieve this either?

If an iOS device is jailbroken, I would imagine most anything is possible.

There are no rules at that point.

I can't see how iTunes has anything to do with wifi sharing, jailbroken or otherwise.
