iPhone XR data issues on LTE

I have an iPhone XR with Total Wireless (they use Verizon Towers). About 1 month ago, my LTE data dropped to .01Mbps. I could get no data through LTE. I could text and make calls, but anything that uses data would not work or just would “clock” and would never load. I called my carrier and they have done all the tests and cannot find anything wrong with their service. We have reset network settings, uninstalled and then reinstalled the profile, and even put a new SIM card in the phone. Nothing works, so they told me it was a hardware issue with the iPhone XR.

I called Apple and have spent all evening on the phone with them. We did a hard reset of the iPhone and put the iPhone into safe mode and completely reset the phone back to factory settings. They said that once the phone was back to factory settings, then we would be able to see if it was a hardware or software issue. They said if the LTE issue persisted then it is clearly a hardware issue.

So, after all this factory resetting, my LTE data still doesn’t work!!

I’m sure Apple won’t offer to replace my iPhone since it is over 1 year old now.

ps - my wife and daughters iphone both work, so it’s clearly not an issue with my carrier.
