Did not resolve the issue. Have restarted everything and gone thru the list of recommended actions on the Apple HT204051 site. When attempting to get to my apple account with the phone I get a notice that verification of my password has failed. I cannot use Google search with the phone which states that I have no internet connection even though thru settings it says that I am connected on a variety of networks. My weather apps , gaming apps, ect. give me the same message. I can send and receive mail thru gmail. Have tried to reset my phone but that process requires the phone to give the Apple ID but when sent out is rejected.
