I have an iPhone 8 plus, when I press home button Siri doesn't come on. This just started today, I used her yesterday.

It might not work but worth a try, use the Assistive Touch Home Button...

Review the above to see if it helps...may not, Siri just does that to lots of people even me, and no matter what I tried I failed and then just out of nowhere even at midnight Siri talks and answers a question I asked eight hours earlier. My eight year old BlackBerry Voice Assistant still works and it has not been updated for years.
By the way Siri is not a she Siri is genderless, just uses a female or male voice.

I cannot ask Siri (he or she :)) because my home button doesn't work but only when I try to contact Siri, works on everything else.
