Books on my iPad

Hi

the books app on my iPad is not syncing with my phone (all other apps do) so when I purchase a book on my iPhone, i cannot see it on my iPad. How do I resolve this issue?

Also, on my iPad, the books store does not come up so I cannot buy books through my iPad. Is this linked to the above question? and how do I resolve this?

HI

Yes both using same password, both connected to internet via the same wifi and there is no error message. The message received when i click on a book cover on the iPad is that it is downloading and I will be notified when it is ready but it never downloads. As for the book store, there is no icon to bring it up on the ipad,
