I have an iPhone 11 Pro and have dual sim (physical and an e-sim). I would like my secondary number to block incoming calls so I only receive messages/texts to the number.
How do I do this?
im in Australia and with service provider Optus.

Unfortunately you cannot do that. You can turn OFF your secondary number line (as you already know) but that will turn OFF that entire line including messages. Apple iPhone with DUAL SIM capability are Dual SIM with DUAL Standby OR you can have one line ON at a time.
Not sure why you do not want to receive calls on your secondary line however you have one option and that is to Forward the calls on your secondary line to another number so it doesn't ring you iPhone.......

You can forward the calls from that line to any number you like however I recommend to forward to a number you know rather than forwarding to unknown numbers. One other thing that comes to mind and that is that your carrier may be able to help you block all calls to that number. Call them and let them know what you want but also tell them to leave SMS and Data on.

when you say I can forward it onto another number so it doesn’t ring...must that be to a voicemail or can it go to a random disconnected number?
