iphone8 plus not restoring

I've tried all the suggestions on the help website, but my phone won't restore. It's stuck on the screen showing the laptop and power cord. Error (9) pops up when trying to restore and or update with iTunes. Any further suggestions?

my iPhone will not restore. I keep get error 9 Whenever i try to restore my iPhone i go through all the steps on the computer (restore, restore & update) and on the phone i wait for the bar under the apple logo to pop up. After a few seconds the phone turns black and the computer says "The iPhone 'iPhone' could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9).

Contact Apple support, as per this article:--> If you see error 9, 4005, 4013, or 4014 when you restore your iOS device - Apple Support

If you get no help, click on the "contact us" (written in blue) at the bottom
