Activity not syncing between watch and iPhone

I had an iWatch 3 & now have an iWatch 5. My activity hasn’t been syncing to my iPhone XS Max for over a week and I have tried numerous troubleshooting to fix this.

aeroplane mode, restarting both devices, ensuring all location services are enabled, I’ve seen numerous posts about scrolling to the ‘progress updates’ area in the Watch app under ‘activity’ but I don’t see it. When you search you can find it, and choosing ‘none’ like being told doesn’t appear to do anything.

im extremely frustrated as I even purchased A new watch to try and fix it but it’s not improved.

has anyone managed to fix this?

Try this first;

Close the Activity app on the iPhone

On your watch: go the Home screen

(single press of the Digital Crown) and tap on

the Activity app icon (coloured rings).

Press firmly on the screen > tap on Change

your Move Goal > change the goal.

You can move the goal back once it's working again.

Check these settings;

On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Privacy > Motion & Fitness - check that both Fitness Tracking and Health are enabled.

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > Privacy > check that both Fitness Tracking and Heart Rate are enabled.
