Switching from Tmobile to Verizon

I read conflicting things about moving service from T-mobile to Verizon. Bought my iphone6 from T-mobile years ago - 100% unlocked and paid for . Want to switch over to Verizon (actually TotalWireless).

I read that the iphone6 was OK to switch (GSM to CDMA) as long as it is unlocked. Buy a new Sim, transport the number and it should work.

But a Rep at Total Wireless said it may not be compatible - even though I checked the IMEI and it said OK.

So question is "Can a T-mobile iPhone6 be used on Verizon network?

Hello,

The SIM will work, but your iPhone will need to be unlocked in order for you to use it, as you bought it from T Mobile.

To answer your question, Yes

Read this to learn how to unlock your iPhone

You could also use third party companies to unlock your iPhone, but from personal experience, it takes a long time and usually prices are high.

I hope this helps :)

Thanks, EpicX
