Offline Gaming (on the wifi only iPad)
I was amazed to learn though that you can't even run it outside of a wifi hotspot. So any time I leave the house, go to work, or go up to my cottage, the game is unplayable. Just like a lot of apps I've run across. This may be because I'm running a free-ware version though, and purchasing a fuller game could make it available offline.
Anyway, that was the first issue, and it wasn't a big one because like I said earlier, Godfinger wouldn't be my top pick for number 1 game. I heard of another game called Plants vs Zombies, saw lots of good reviews, and apparently it won 20 game of the year awards. It costs 9.99$, which I would be willing to pay IF the game can be played offline. I can't believe that amongst 50 GB of free space and I-don't-remember-how-much RAM they wouldn't be able to run the game solely from the machine itself.
So the question (for starters) is simply this, can PvsZ only run when connected to the net?
And, if there's someone out there who is more familiar or informed than me at this, could you please tell me approximately the ratio of online-only games that are available compared to offline-playable ones.
