Display Problems on Mac mini 2020

I have two iiyama displays; Prolite E2207WS & Prolite E2208HDS both work fine on my old Windows 7 PC but I can only get the older Prolite E2207WS to work on my new Mac Mini. I bought a new Apple brand HDMI to DVI adapter from the Apple store but still can only get the Prolite E2207WS to work. Any suggestions?

How to connect an iMac 2020 to a 23-inch Apple HD Cinema Display? Hi I have brought the latest 2020 iMac (Thunderbolt 3 compatible), and I want to connect it to my Apple HD Cinema 23-inch (1920 × 1200 this being a DVI-based display. I have brought a USB C to DVI Adapter, Benfei USB Type-C to DVI Adapter [Thunderbolt 3 Compatible] but the Apple screen flickers from the back screen picture to a blank black screen. Can anyone suggest any other adapters that might work please ? Thankyou

External display? Hey so I am trying to connect my hp 2011 display as an external display for my MacBook Air M1 through an HDMI to DVI adapter. But it says input signal out of range. So when I go ahead and change the display settings in the MacBook settings for the hp display(I change the resolution) nothing happens, the display doesn't update even though I have changed the settings.It still says the same thing but it doesn't even try to update the settings(the message says on display without even blinking when I change the settings). I replug and the same thing. How do I get it to update?
