30 inch Cinema HD Display

I have a a 30 inch Cinema HD Display that I'm trying to connect to a Late 2013 iMac. If I use the Mini Display to Dual-Link DVI adapter the display will not power up. If I use the Mini Display to DVI adapter the display powers up and functions but the resolution is 1280x800 and not usable because the windows are way too large. Any ideas? Thank you

Display Problems on Mac mini 2020 I have two iiyama displays; Prolite E2207WS & Prolite E2208HDS both work fine on my old Windows 7 PC but I can only get the older Prolite E2207WS to work on my new Mac Mini. I bought a new Apple brand HDMI to DVI adapter from the Apple store but still can only get the Prolite E2207WS to work. Any suggestions?

Has anybody been able to successfully connect a 30" cinemadisplay monitor to an iMac? I purchased the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI adapter, and it doesn't work. Here's diagram of what I am trying to do. So far, I have tried connecting via adapter to two devices: my 2012 iMac and my 2012 MacBookPro. While from what I have read, this setup should work, my Cinemadisplay monitor refuses to show image - just a black screen. But in the computers, in Display preferences, the CD shows up. Any suggestions on what else I can try?

Is the dual-link adapter's USB cable plugged into the computer?

Does the display, or the adapter, show in the USB section of System Information (Option-click the at top-left of screen)?

The adapter seems to be dead if nothing is showing in System Information.

Reset the Display Resolution:

Boot into safe mode (Hold Down: Shift button Upon Boot) to reset the display resolution to defaults.

If that is of no success, then reset your Mac's NVRAM and SMC to do the same.

The adapters USB is plugged into the computer.

Neither the display or the adapter show in the System Information
