Error while printing preview pictures into PDF

All sorts of things may occur. There could be some corrupt settings.

Some situations may lead to an error while others do not.

Deleting the printer and adding it again is a simple troubleshooting step that often solves printing issues.

Another thing to try is resetting the print system. This deletes all printers and sets everything to defaults. If, as it seems to be the case, you have only one printer, resetting the print system is simple (if you had 14 printers, you’d have to set them all up; with just one it takes just 30 seconds).

To reset the print system control click the printer list area in System Preferences->Printers & Scanners and choose Reset Print System.

There is probably a problem with the printer driver.

Try with another printer selected, or delete the printer and add it again.

[And yes, I know you are saving as pdf; but the printer driver is still involved]

Thank you for your reply Luis, but what is the relation with the printer driver that i have installed on my computer.

Because the printer driver is used to... print, even to pdf.

That is why, for example, if you have selected a black and white printer and do "Save as PDF..." the pdf comes out in black and white.
