El Capitan not availble to download

The link for ElCapitan doesn´t work. It says its no longer available. How can I update my Macbook Pro mid 2009 installing from scratch?

You didn't say which link "doesn't work," but if it is an Apple Link, and you are using Firefox, try using Safari instead.
