Jupiter notebook slow on macOS Catalina

Hello friends;

Recently I upgraded to most up to date Catalina, 10.15.4. But I see slowness in running Jupyter notebook on Python 3. Sometimes some cells do not respond for a min or so. Can I kindly get help why is that happening? I did check the activity monitor and did not see any process taking too much f CPU cycles. Help is appreciated

For your third party app have you tried Support from—

https://jupyter.org/community

If no resolve you can fall back to your previous macOS from a backup.

Revert your Mac to a previous macOS version - Apple Support

You can try To trouble shoot further—

Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and test. Reboot and test as caches get rebuilt.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.
