microphone

After speaking to apple support, the microphone on the phone is not working. The audio section has disconnected from the motherboard. in regards to repair would it be safe to repair? the speaker icon on phone calls is greyed out and cannot be pressed and the voice memo function doesn't work.

Microphone not working on iPhone 7 This happened just a few hours ago, but the microphone on my iPhone has stopped working. Whenever I take a video, there is no audio and the mute volume button (beside the play button) is greyed out and I can't press it. That would be up to Apple, they provide repairs.
