iPad to iPad migration?

Is it possible to ‘migrate’ (or any other term that yields the same results) from one iPad to another?

I have transferred all my data from computer to iPad. Music that I have imported from CD’s, pictures, etc. are all on iPad. If I get another iPad, will I be able to ‘migrate’ all that information so I don’t lose all the painstaking work it took importing all my music to iTunes when I had a computer? I do not have iCloud backup because the lack of storage space.

Hello,

You would have to synchronize the new iPad with the computer you had originally synchronized the music with.

Seriously? Can you explain why? Also, what if I don’t have the computer any longer? Would I have had to keep the original computer forever, so that every new iPad can synchronize with it? There has got to be a better way? I wanted to move from traditional computers or laptops, to solely using iPad.
