Sound Glitch in iMovie

Hi,

Looking for some audio help in iMovie. I have recorded some voice over clips myself, placed them over music to run along with video clips, but there is one point in my movie where there is an annoying 'pop' sound which seems like a glitch. This can only be heard after the movie has been saved as a file to my Mac. I have tried to split my voice over into 2 clips and leave a gap in the audio for where it jumps but I'm just guessing where this is as the problem doesn't occur in iMovie but only in the published version of the video. I do not believe this sound is on the original voice recording, music and the video is muted anyway. I've read on another forum that someone had a similar issue where 2 video clips meet and I have edited 2 clips next to each other around this point too so I'm not sure if that's where the problem lies (although I have several different clips throughout my video and no other problems anywhere else).

Can anyone help or give any advice on this? It's not a huge deal but just driving me mad that I cannot work out where or why the problem is occurring! Thanks in advance.

Hmmmm. Hard to tell what could be causing the popping noise.

Try importing into a new project the movie that you had exported out. Play it in the new project and see if the popping noise appears. If it does, you can try cutting out a small piece where the problem occurs. You might need to detach the audio by selecting the clip and doing a Modify/Detach audio. Then you can split the audio clip and cut out the tiny portion that contains the popping noise.
