I am facing a strange issue where the swipe left gesture for Notification Center would stop working after restarting Mac. It would start working again after few sleeps or the next day( I have not been able to figure out exactly when). Also, during this time, closing gesture of notification center works fine. Can someone please help me with this? This is very frustating.
reinstalling the combo update on top of your existing macOS 10.15.4

You do not say what exact Mac /model /year /size /retina /TouchBar is this
or
what exact macOS you are currently running?
For one off anomalies like this, there has been some success reinstalling the combo update on top of your existing macOS 10.15.4

Sorry, I thought it would auto fill the device info as I had mentioned the device having the problem.
However, my device info is:
MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019)
OS: macOS Catalina 10.15.4 (19E287)
