Battery issues

My iPhone XR is draining the battery very fast and sometimes the back is hot. Face id not working and even the auto brightness is not working. When I tried to enable face id a message that the phone is hot and to try later appears. It all happened overnight. Please help.

Face id stopped working and iphone xr is not charging Today face id stopped working all of a sudden with the message : face id is not available. I tried restarting but it didnt solves thw problem. I noticed that iphone also stopped charging and its not working even after several setting reset and reboot. Now the battery is drained out. Not sure what went wrong.

First, cool it down with somewhere cool (not the freezer though lol)
