Well finally got it to work; was looking at my iPhone 6 plus and found that it was iOS 12.4.6; so tried it on that since I still use it for games that I didn't transfer to my new phone; and it updated the watch and paired; unpaired and then went to my new phone and updated software to 6.2.1 for watchOS and its finishing syncing and setting up now.. Again Sir appreciate the help today..

Try this first;

Press and hold both the side button and Digital Crown for about 10 seconds, then release both buttons when you see the Apple logo.Wait a few seconds, then hold down just the side button for about 20 seconds until the “erase all settings” prompt shows up on the screen, then tap on it, then tap on the green check button.

Then try pairing again.

This is becoming a bigger problem every day,ios13 doesn't seem to like watches with watchos5 or below,here is one proven solution from another forum;

Quote;

I found a friend, who was on iOS 12 and used his iPhone to pair. Before pairing it asked to upgrade the watch OS (iOS 13 didn't offer this option). After I upgraded the watchos I unpaired the watch from the ios12 phone and then was able to pair it with any iPhone running iOS 13.

This has solved the problem for quite a few people,the main problem with this is finding a phone with ios12 on it.

I got to the green checked screen, hit the check; watch when through it cycle and came back up; when back an attempted to pair; back on the screen "connecting your apple watch. this may take a moment" -- time elapsed since getting to that screen -- 10 mins so far.
