Apple Care for Macbook Air
Am I able to buy Apple Care after I purchase a Macbook Air? Even if it's after the one year automatic care? If so, will it be the same price if buying it with the Macbook Air ($249)?

You have 3 months after your Mac purchase to buy Applecare+. There are a couple of other countries where only the regular Applecare is sold, but that has to be purchased within 1 year.
So, sadly, either way, you are too late.
