random numbers next to my time machine backup

I am new to time machine backup.

I found the date of the backup and some numbers next to each folder.

Do these number refer to something ?!

Can i modify the time machine backup and make it run every 6 hours instead of each hour?

Time machine last backup date wrong I do a weekly backup. usually it is 0.5G-2.0G size. This week after an installation of an application (libra office) I thought it might be a bit bigger, but the backup calculation is ~140G. erasing backup history I've been getting this message every time I open my MacBook Air: Time Machine detected that your backups on “Data” can not be reliably restored. Time Machine must erase your existing backup history and start a new backup to correct this. "Data" is on my AirPort Time Capsule. Is there any danger in erasing the existing backup history and starting a new backup? I've been nervous about doing this. Thanks; any advice will be appreciated.

What is the consequence on my new iMac if I click "inherit backup history" What is the consequence of clicking "inherit backup history" from an old 3TB iMac (at 1.6TB storage) to a 2TB new iMac from a 4TB Time Machine backup which is at 3.8TB of Time Machine backups

That's the Time of the backup.

It is always best to allow Time Machine to function as designed.

There have been several third-party helper apps that allow you to alter the frequency of backup. I can't recommend any as I've never had a need for that.
