Unable to Clear Recently Deleted in Files App

I currently have 2 files in my recently deleted in the files app, however after attempting to permanently delete those 2 files, they would re-appear upon revisiting the recently deleted folder. This is an issue for me since these 2 files take up a good amount of space. Attempting to recover the files however, gives me an error prompt per file seen below

Attempted Solutions:

Reinstalling the Files App
Restarting my Phone
Clearing Cache

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that you're unable to delete 2 files from the Recently Deleted folder in Files. You've done a great job trying to get this resolved! I'm happy to help.

If you haven't already, go to iCloud.com and try to delete the files there. If the issue persists, please contact Apple Support for further assistance.
