Stocks app news feed ignores news settings

I Blocked a channel in the news app, but while that channel no longer polluted my News app feeds, it is still showing up in the newsfeed of the Stocks app. I talked to Support about this, and they verified that the newsfeed and a stock shop is supposed to inherit the settings from the News app, and the fact that this is not happening indicates this isn’t working as intended. Has anybody got a solution for this?
