I have two sets of AirPods. On one the left doesn’t work and on the other the right ear doesn’t work

I have two sets of earbuds. On one of them the left ear doesn’t work and on the other one the right ear doesn’t work. Is there any way to get them to work together so I have a left and a right earbuds that sync with one charger and are recognized together when I put the in?
