I have two sets of earbuds. On one of them the left ear doesn’t work and on the other one the right ear doesn’t work. Is there any way to get them to work together so I have a left and a right earbuds that sync with one charger and are recognized together when I put the in?

Those are Apple’s official instructions for doing that.
Did you try first unpairing both sets (independently) in their original chargers from the Bluetooth panel, then following these instructions to pair them afresh?

Thank you for responding. I tried that and only one AirPod works (the one that goes with the case that is currently synced) what I need is a way to get the other AirPod to work with it. Is there no way to take an AirPod out of one case and get it to work with another? Both work independently of each other but not together
The process should be the same as for pairing any replacement AirPods.
