Buying iPhone not online

hello,

I am looking to purchase a new iPhone, probably the iPhone XS, but on the webpage it says that it is available at authorized resellers. How would I go about that when all Apple retail stores are closed due to COVID19? The same is if I want to purchase a new laptop that is not listed on the Apple main webpage because it is a little older? Apple only shows the 3 newest ones.
