I have iPhone xs max. The wallet app will not open. I have tried force quiting, force restarting iphone. Everything is updated. When clicking on wallet it goes to black screen and then goes back to home screen.

If a force restart won't work, the next step is to create a current backup and restore the iPhone to the backup. If that does not work, then restore the iPhone to factory and set it up as new, not from a backup and test.
