If the App had a free trial that renews into a paid subscription, then neither contacting the App developer nor Apple will do anything to cancel it.

Deleting the App also, does not cancel any associated subscription it may have.

With that said, its unlikely that has anything to do with the message. Those sms scams are generally randomly generated and sent in bulk. There's no real reaosn to believe anyone has your specific number. It was just generated by the software that sends these messages.

That seems to be a scam/phishing email. Apple won't send you an email/text telling you your account is disabled/restricted  or will be disabled/restricted. You will find out the next time you try to log in somewhere.

I don't think it was a necessarily was a coincidence, but I also don't think anyone is targeting you specifically. We all get fake calls and and emails from scammers. The scammers call and send emails from lists if not basically randomly.

If it was not in the subscriptions, then it means it had nothing that needed to be cancelled.

Great. But, phone numbers are a dime a dozen. And, your selection could have been random

Probably just coincidence.
