200 Gb Space occupied by unknownk files

Hello

I have an iMac with more than 200 Gb of disk space being used by unknown files , I've run Disk Inventory X and no clues on how to clean it....

Any idea?

Yes, I'm deleting the other user that had by Storage Management 224 GB, and by Finder 2 GB, let's see.

Both in DiskInventory X (the big grey square on the upper right side) and in Storage Management (here it appears as Other Users 224Gb !)

It looks like your visible User folders (Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music, etc.) are taking up almost all the space. Your invisibles have less than a GB or less in each. Why are you showing Invisibles anyway?

Invisible is not the issue.

I'm looking for the reason 224 GB are assigned for Other User.

I have 250 GB of Pictures, 142 GB Music, and the rest is small. So from 1 TB, I should have around 500 GB Free (giving 100GB for System etc) and not less than 300 GB.
