Default email is incorrect

WHen a site asks for an email, my iPad often offers a default at the bottom of the screen-problem is, it is not real- it is @gail.com not @gmail.com...but I dont know where to FIND this to change it..its not in the emails in my Apple ID area, so where is it, and how do I fix it?
