I am a little unsure on what your question is -
You can use one mouse to control both, but not at the same time.
If you was using a mouse on iPad, you would then have to connect it to MacBook Pro to use it on that.
If you have the correct Apple iPad/MacBook Pro you can use sidecar which turns your iPad into an extra screen for your Mac, then you would use the same mouse for once device.
