Hi,


My Apple Watch isn’t locking automatically when it’s on my wrist. It does it fine when I cover it with my hand when it’s not on my wrist? I’ve tried all this ...


‘Check settings in the Watch app for Wrist detection (My Watch / Passcode). If that doesn’t give a clue, try a forced reset by pressing and holding both buttons until the Apple logo appears, then release and let the watch reboot. You could also try unpairing and re-pair, setting up as a new watch to avoid any corrupted settings. ‘


...and still no luck.

Please let me know what I can do next.

Always On is turned on by default on Apple Watch Series 5. In this mode, the time is always visible (by default), along with your watch face or the most recent active app. However, you can turn this feature off. See the "Manage Always On settings" section in:
