Whatsapp Notifications not coming through (iOS 13.4.1) iPhone XS

Suddenly my Whatsapp push notifications aint coming thru, unless i tab onto the app itself, which affects the web Whatsapp am using as well since I need to constantly keeps the iPhone on the same app, cant auto-lock it before it can work??

Delivery Quietly? Whatapp I may have set my WhatsApp to deliver quietly on my iphone11 - I'm not sure. But I no longer get notifications of new messages. This wouldn't be too much of a problem, but I no longer see no. of unread messages on the homescreen (appearing as a number on the App). I only know if I have a new message by going into the App itself. Any ideas? I've tried resetting Notification settings for Whats app but this has made no difference. I have a warning in whatsapp settings that says push notifications are disabled but I can't see where to turn these on. Many thanks in advance Chunks

Whatsapp does not give me notification when app is not in use Whatsapp does not give me notification when not open. When I open again, the notifications starts to pour in. I have made background data refresh to ON, allows notification in whatsapp settings. When I use web.whatsapp, the app gets disconnected from phone when the phone is locked. Can any one help me with this please

WhatsApp is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or WhatsApp FAQ

i tried to do chat backuo but it’s always stuck at 0%, thus this was iOS issue not Whatsapp thou. As per article below
